The Cactus Club Cafe restaurants asked the team at Hydes Bespoke to make them a special orange leather based on a sample of calf skin that they provided. Our task was to create a more durable but soft leather with a smooth feel.
We used raw material that is tanned for automotive use for extra strength, but with some added ingredients to soften the touch. This enabled us to provide a robust leather that would resist stretching on their large booth seats, but also provide a luxurious feel.
