King Taps is Toronto’s newest restaurant and sports bar in the heart of downtown TO. Hydes Bespoke supplied the black leather for the seating: including high tops, bar seats and booths in the elevated restaurant. King Taps asked us to provide a strong leather that would be both durable and comfortable for their customers. We used an automotive grade raw material for a full body leather that would resist stretching, and finished it with some additional UV protection and rub resistance, and then printed it with a nappa grain finish for a smooth consistency. This leather feels soft to the touch, whilst also exceeding the durability requirements for high traffic environments, like this 500 seat restaurant.
